Priya D’Souza honored with a 2019 UIC Award of Merit
Priya D'Souza, Assistant Director of Faculty Affairs and Academic Affairs for the School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics, is being honored with a 2019 UIC Award of Merit.
The Award of Merit recognizes and honors outstanding Civil Service and Academic Professional employees for exhibiting service, commitment and dedication. Priya was nominated by the School and selected by a campus-wide committee for her overall excellence in all aspects of work performance; consistent delivery of user responsive service; creativity in problem solving and initiative; commitment to individual development and fostering growth; promotion of morale by leadership, teamwork, and enhancing work environment; and sensitivity to diversity and affirmative action accomplishments.
Priya will be honored at the Employee Recognition Award Ceremony and Reception, which will be held on Tuesday November 19th at 10:30am at the UIC Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum at Roosevelt and Halsted.
