Dr. Ruchi Rana's Knowing India Series.
English Vinglish depicts the social and cultural implications of language in the life of the protagonist, Shashi Godbole, an ordinary middle-class Indian woman. The program aims to entertain and stimulate conversation about how the language learning process affects and influences human life.
Dr. Ruchi Rana is a Visiting Fulbright Scholar in the School of LCSL and is the instructor of Hindi-Urdu.
