Alumnus of the Spanish program named Rhodes Scholar
Sami Alahmadi, a 2018 UIC graduate in biological sciences and minor in Spanish, was recently selected as a Rhodes Scholar to represent Saudi Arabia. Sami will study at the University of Oxford where he will pursue a master’s degree in global health sciences and epidemiology, as well as a master’s degree in public policy. After his time at Oxford, he intends to pursue a medical career.
