You are cordially invited to the Linguistics Department’s upcoming talk in the East Asian Humanities and Culture Talk Series on "Learn through K-pop". Dr. Hanae Kim (Lecturer and Coordinator of the Korean Studies Program, University of Illinois Chicago) will present studies that explore how fans of Korean popular culture, particular K-pop, engage with and learn about Korean culture, history, and language through their fandom.
