Do you like Indian folk dance forms? If so, please join in GH 308 on Friday, 27 September 2024 from 4:15PMĀ  to 6:00PM for an event on Indian folk dances like bhangra, gidda, ghoomar, bihu, jhumeilo, garba, and dandiya!

Dr. Ruchi Rana is a Fulbright FLTA and Cultural Ambassador of India to the US placed as a visiting teaching associate at the School of LCSL at UIC. Originally from New Delhi, India, Dr. Rana has conducted extensive research on Indian folklore and folk performances for the past six years. She has had a penchant for dance from a young age and wants to use her skill to share the vibrancy of Indian culture with the UIC community.
