Piel awarded DAAD research fellowship
Maryann Piel, Ph.D. student in Germanic Studies, has garnered a prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) research fellowship for the 2021-22 academic year. Maryann will spend the coming academic year conducting research in Germany for her dissertation, "Self-Made Royalty: Celebrity in German Literature."
