Karen Underhill Awarded MLA Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for the Best Book in Slavic Languages and Literatures
Introduction
Professor Karen Underhill's book Bruno Schulz and Galician Jewish Modernity (Indiana University Press, 2024) has been awarded the MLA Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for the Best Book in Slavic Languages and Literatures. It was previously awarded the ASEEES (Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies) Kulczycki Book Prize in Polish Studies for the best book in any discipline on any aspect of Polish affairs.
