Study Abroad

We highly encourage our majors and minors to take advantage of one of the Department's Study Abroad programs, both of which are specifically geared toward fulfilling requirements of the Germanic Studies major and minor.

Students who are enrolled in at least GER 103 as of the Spring semester can earn up to 7 hours of credit during the 4-week summer program in Berlin. Students interested in a longer program can spend a semester or year abroad in Vienna, Austria.
