Briana Jackson (Class of 2011)
Briana Jackson graduated in 2011 and is currently a second-year MA student of ancient Egyptian art and archaeology at the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University. In the past summer she studied abroad at Trinity College Dublin after been awarded the Levy & White Travel Grant. She is currently engaged with the Abydos Project at New York University, cataloging digital images of the ongoing excavation at Abydos, Egypt. She has already published an article (together with Nanno Marinatos) on "The Pseudo-Minoan Nestor Ring and Its Egyptian Iconography" Journal of Ancient Egyptian Interconnections, 2, 2011, pp. 17-27.
